Unless you send a 7 M offer sheet to Kessel, that's not happening since you don't have the necessary draft picks to pay the compensation, and Boston will gladly take 4 1st round picks if you pay 7 m for Kessel.

the only one that seems somewhat plausible is the one involving vermette and brassard. i don't even really think thats very even to begin with. face it, your team signed a bunch of tiny weiner hockey players that are going to flop.

I'm laughing trying to find which amongst the five is the worst proposal. Just when I say "yeah that ones the worst", I read the next one and laugh.

Seriously the Kostitsyn brothers wouldn't get you much. Maybe you're confusing them with the Sedins.

I''ll address the Columbus one first. Columbus isn't going to trade one center, two is ridiculous. Especially those two in particular. They're the CBJ's two best centers. Brassard is their only #1 center and Vermette is arguably their best forward not named Nash at the moment. This trade would give the Jackets about 430 wingers and a few NHL caliber centers, none of which are worthy of the top line.

And the Pens aren't going to trade their up-and-coming offensive d-man who is progressing at an impressive rate and should be the face of their defense for years to come, and their shutdown, 20-year old center who still has loads of potential for anything short of massive overpayment. They won't be trading defencemen without getting d-men in return. They could use a couple wingers with the news about Talbot, but not at the expense of Staal and/or Letang.

Change the 2nd to a 1st, and i'll still say no. Hartnell isn't moving. Also, Plekanec fits no need for the Flyers

Stop with all these ****ing Kostitsyn trade ideas... they have one pretty shaky season and everyone wants to trade them

You're a horrible fan and you obviously don't have enough knowledge to post these proposals so just go away

Furthermore... why would we trade Gorges, he has a great salary, he's one of the hardest working players on the ice and he's a great guy and he's developing into a good leader, not to mention he's actually a good shut down d.

Go away

Im a Horrible fan? why? because i hate europeans and how they play hockey? dude u dnt know why i am offering the kostitsyns so **** i just hate europeans and frees up like 4$ mill in caps space givng us about 8$ mill left after resigning r rfas then we can sign a 7th dman chelios or boucher and a top 6 winger and move up latendresse to the 2nd line where he and lapierre deserve to be considerring they were the only players last year that played with passion for hockey

Kesler is one of the best two-way centers in the league, and hes only 24. Imagine making that offer to the Flyers for Mike Richards, becuase that's what Kesler means to Vancouver. Now think about that, and if you still think that the Flyers would trade you Mike Richards+ for the Kostitsyn brothers, then you should leave this board and never come back.

There isn't one proposal there that's even remotely close.

Kesler is a core player in Vancouver... he is the team's best 2-way forward, top checking player, and puts up 20+ goals and had 59 pts last year... he also makes $1.5mill less than A. Kostitsyn does.

Kesler is just not available for trade as he's very much a big part of the team's future, and the Canucks have enough wingers like these guys to have much interest in them... with Demitra, Daniel, Raymond, Samuelsson, Hansen - and Grabner, Schroeder, Rodin and Shirokov in the system, the Canucks need more players like Kesler and Bernier, which I'm sure is what you think the Habs need and why you're even proposing this.

Besides, as Bieksa said yesterday on OTR - these guys are about 2 inches too big for Montreal
