Ladd-Bolland-Hossa
Versteeg-Madden-Sharp (best 3rd line in the league?)

I assume that this was planned ahead of time.. but he had a good Tuesday of camp, too. I look forward to seeing how he does in Rockford, though the Brian Connelly-SDP pairing they ran at times today looked awkward considering the 10-inch height difference.

Danis-Pepin was -16 and -18 in his final two years at Maine. Granted it was a crappy team but he was among the team leaders in that depatment. He'll have to prove at least to me he can be a plus player. I'm not holding my breath.

Just like most all posters was so hyped about Danny Bertram.

Danis-Pepin is very raw and if he ever makes the NHL it will be after at least 2-3 years of seasoning in the AHL. I am glad to see Bickell signed, he has looked alright in his NHL call ups and he will provide good depth for Rockford next year.

Toronto trades CGY's 2011 2nd rd pick and TOR's 2011 3rd rd pick to Chicago to get back their 2010 2nd rd pick.

---

Looks good to me.

Crawford is the best bet to stick. We'll likely see both Crawford and Niemi get some games though.

I took Ben Eager as a Goon in my pool, do you think guys he's one of the best? Should I be worry or he's gonna do the hard job for your team (because I don't really know him) (0.5 points per min)

Hey I was wondering if training camp has given you all good indications of what the lineup will look like for opening night? I have Ladd and Towevs in a fantasy pool, and I'm curious (:

Thanks. And for the record, im a cbj fan who digs the hawks. And if you're wondering, our lineup will be someeething like

Huselius/Brassard/Nash
Umberger/Vermette/Voracek
Murray/Pahlsson/Torres
Filatov/Blunden/Dorsett

Boll, Picard

Injured: Chimera and Modin

orrr when Niki gains Hitch's trust and earns more ice time...
Huselius/Brass/Nash
Filatov/Vermette/Voracek
Umberger/Pahlsson/(Torres/Murray)
(Picard/Murray or Torres)/(Murray/Blunden)/Dorsett

Niemi won the backup job apparently. Him and AJ are on waivers.

Him being Crawford, in case anyone found this confusing.

Crawford deserved better

He worked his but off in our organization and was supposed to get his chance last year but Huet's signing ruined that.

I know where you're coming from... but he's going to have to "work his butt off" harder then because he never performed well enough to grab any opportunity. I want to see a guy grab a job, you know? I don't mean to say that Niemi has done a whole lot more than Crawford in the past year -- I'm just not a fan of the 'tenure' approach to making that decision.

Just had to post that piece of epicness, no?

Skille called up, and promptly sent back down.

We have word here in Switzerland, that the Hawks are negotiating with Brett McLean. Two teams from our League try to sign him, but he wants to wait because apparently Chicago is interested. He said, he'll only a one-way deal.

cheers

Ugh, we obviously need a body but I don't think McLean is the answer.
