Yup, there are windows.

They can transfer players up until September 24.
Then the next period is November 8-14
then.. December 15-21 and then finally January 24-31

However juniors and players born 1983 and 1984 can change teams until January 31 without having to bother about the stupid transfer window.

Jonathan Ericsson returned to Södertälje today from the farm team Huddinge.

Sorry to go OT, but is there other examples of farm teams in SEL?

Halmstad, Bofors, Almtuna.. Although none of them are pure farm teams. Bofors is probably the closest thing to a farm team you can get in the Allsvenskan. I wasn't aware Huddinge was regarded as the farm of SSK. Sure they have Ericsson on loan but what more?

I think when the Allsvenskan gets contracted to 16 teams we'll see more teams use division 1 teams as farm teams. Hopefully the contraction of both Allsvenskan and division 1 will raise the level of competition in division 1 sufficiently to make it a good environment to develop players.

Nicklas Grossman is also registrated at Huddinge as a so called "namngiven spelare", farm team may have been the wrong word here though. What I really meant was that only "namngivna spelare" can transfer outside the transfer window.
