1.) Boston gives up Kessel and pick/prospect-(not a first or Colborne/Caron) (Ference/Ward could be included, but DAL seems pretty stacked at D)
Dallas gives up 1 of Niskanen, Robidas, Daley, Grossman and one of Brunnstrom, Neal or Benn
2.) Kobasew and pick/prospect (Ference or Ward again can be included)
DAL gives 1 of Niskanen, Robidas, Daley, Grossman
lot of options with these 2 teams...not really sure what makes the most sense
you could probably make a pretty even trade out of those players, but in both cases I'm assuming Boston wants to shed salary, and Dallas isn't in a good position right now on the financial side to take any on. Our owner isn't broke, but is very hard pressed for cash (which I'm going to point out is not a reflection on the team or the strength of the market, but on the fact his investments have been particularly hard hit by the economic downturn). Therefore Dallas is not a good trading partner for Boston, Chicago, or any other team with cap problems right now.
