i think this is the correct list , maybe Zubov has a year left in him ...

marc andré bergeron, derek morris, paul mara, and dennis seidenberg can help

then there's tanguay, todd bertuzzi, miro satan, maxim afinogenov, sundin (if sundin does't retire)

maybe morrison ... i dunno

perhaps blair betts ! kostopoulos was one of the best habs last year ...

niittymaki, biron, for goalies

but really, a terrible list

Kotalik, Mitchell, and Valiquette aren't free agents.

Backman is terrible. He doesn't belong in the NHL.

Tanguay ought to have been in the Havlat-Gaborik-Cammalleri class, or just a hair below and then only because of his injury. I'm really puzzled as to why nobody has snapped him up yet.

Injuries and wanting a big payday would be my guess.

And he's not in the class you mention. At least not anymore.

tanguay hasn't been picked up because he probably want a contract around what he made in his last one (5.5) and probably looking for a 4+ year

I think we need a top 10 of each position. Most of these plugs will never play in the NHL again.

Apparantly there is a rumor that Sexson was on the phone with his agent all day yesterday. Whether anything comes of this remains to be seen, but I know Panther fans are really pushing for Tanguay. Hopefully he is coming to S. FLA.

I think your wrong. Tanguay will sign a 1 year contract for arround 3 M to 3.5 M Max 4 and prove himself and get a long turn next year.

That s what he s trying to do.
