I can't wait. Both the Leafs & Habs have improved their teams.....and the Leafs aren't done. I think those inter division games are going to be great this year. I think the habs will match them physically. Wait until leaf fans learn that Komi is just a big teddy bear & he went to T.O. so he didn't have to stick up for anybody.

Every season should open with the Leafs and Habs, just rotate it back and forth between the two cities. There's very little more exciting to either fan base then a good ole tangle with each other. Heck, most of Canada gets into it to a degree, to cheer for/against their favourite/most hated and second favourite/second most hated team.

Let's hope (or at least I will lol..) that the Leafs are a little more relevant this year in the Eastern Conference, and we can really get a proper hate on for each other. I have my doubts about that, 30+ years as a Leaf fan will do that to a guy, but I do think we're better then last year at least , we'll just see how much better lol..

Cheers

The Leafs are always relevant to the Habs. Even when I've thought we've had more talented teams, the Leafs have always played us extremely tough and given us headaches. Last year would be an example. They won the season series.

You're focusing on the wrong thing: Don't you think it's incredible Beauchemin only misses five months with an amputated knee!?!? That's a career ender if I've ever seen one.
