Nova Scotia. You can't go much afurther east. Atlantic ocean is about 15 min ride away. I noticed on Kings vision some Keith's beer commercials. The original brewery is about 10-15 min away. At least the beer is close by.

wow, how did you become a Kings fan way out there?
Guys, I'm considering taking my 4 year old either tomorrow or Sunday. Good idea? Plenty of parking, room inside for us, etc? How big of a crowd to potentially expect tomorrow or Sunday? I've been to the facility once, quite a while ago, so the memory's a little fuzzy....

For the most part here, there are 3-4 teams people go for. Montreal, Toronto, Boston and now Pittsburgh (I live 15-20 min away from Sid the Kid's parents house). The worst are the Montreal fans, the only thing worse than a Montreal fan, is a Toronto fan. I could not take any more we have 23 Stanley cup stories and about 20 years ago, the the Kings drafted Luc. I have been a fan ever since. It is extremely hard to find Kings Jerseys, hats, t-shirts in the stores here. I basically have to go online to the Kings store or ebay to purchase anything. To watch games, extremely tough unless I have the NHL package on satellite or they are playing a Canadian team and it is televised. I listen to most of games on the Kings site through the radio broadcast or if someone puts it on website and is broadcasting it. Pretty much during the week if I catch the game, I end up being late to work in the morning after.....4 hr time difference but hey its worth it.
51 seems to be the lucky number at camp for skill.
moller last year, kozun this year. Kozun's goal was PURE SKILL... top speed in a small area, quick hands. WOW. Continued it up w/ another partial breakaway shortly after.
I thought alec martinez was kind of meh, DL is really high on this kid but i didn't see much today. I kept forgetting who he was... "53? whos that again?"
Czarnik appears to be the real deal.
Hickey appears to have grown a little bit. Real solid.
Teubert's hockey sense seems lacking at this point.
During the Deflections drill, Kolomatis seemed to be the only D guy to get his shot in a spot where a forward could redirect it in.
Though Voynov was not in the scrimmage, i thought he did very well during the drills.
I thought zatkoff was the best of the goalies, bernier a close 2nd

wow - good on you. If you ever make it out to LA, announce it here. We'll make sure you do it right.

Wow is right, you're a true Kings fan through and through. Must be hard to deal with all the Canadian team fans. So then do you try and see the Kings when the play the Canadian teams?
Quattro is right, if you come to L.A. let us the boards know!
A beer or two will be coming your way.

I want to make sure I put a great big Thank You! out there to all the people posting updates and summaries. Living in Boston there is really no way I can get out there so it means a lot. Thanks so much.
Team O'Connell and Team Emerson split a pair of scrimmages with Team O'Connell prevailing after a shootout. One of the highlights, Garrett Roe #52, (above), scored an amazing goal while being leveled in the crease.

Sounds good. Thanks for the recap. I wish they were streaming the games like they did last year... Would be nice to watch some of this. I wish I had stayed down in LA for an extra week to see them

"It has not been a good day. I lost my glasses early this morning and I had to go buy a pair of 79 dollar reading glasses today. 79 bucks. You can literally get them at Costco, three-for-20." - Darryl Sutter's response to going up 2-0 in the series.
Goals: Holloway (due to nice puck control), Kozun, Roe (nice one, scored just as he was nailed by Hickey, second day in a row he's been hit hard, bounced back better today, scoring must've helped), Walker
Unsung heroes: Vey and King (had a nice take away and displayed good puck control)
Almost goal: Schenn made beautiful pass to (Wudrick?) near end of 2nd scrimmage. Wudrick failed to put it in.
Shoot out:
Versus Bernier: Roe/Holloway/Parnham/Schenn/Clifford/Weiss - No goal; Kuzan - Goal!
Versus Zatkoff: Azevedo/Czarnick/Elkins/DeFazio/Walker - No goal; Vey - Goal!, Mikus - Game winning Goal!
Wes Cunningham played D today
Constantin Braun played D both days
Weiss switched from 44 to 34
Nolan, Loktionov did not play nor show up for drills
Voynov participated in drills, but did not play in scrimmage
Teubert continues to hit big
Walker impressed both days one and two
Gudas impressed day one, but not so much today
Mikus seemed kind of slow, not agressive, did handle the puck well, but maybe had a hard time figuring out what the coaches were telling him to do on the drills
LOL, just read the LAKings.com summary, pretty spot on, but they said a "free agent" scored in the shoot out. I guess they can't mention their names from some reason?
To their credit, they handed out better rosters today, although it indicates Florian Busch was out there as Number 38, but I did not see him out there today. I know he was there last year.
