I'd like to see him in Hamilton dominating the AHL, to be honest. Our roster is stacked with players that can't go up or down without going through waivers.

Start up in the AHL, and call him up as an injury replacement when needed.

He needs to learn how to produce points in the AHL. He's proven that he can't do in the NHL yet. He needs to be in the AHL for at least half the season.

I don't want to rush him like we did Latendresse. I want him to be a power forward and to learn the ropes against AHL calibre talent. He's got the raw talent but it needs to be polished.

Really hoping (wishfully) that he carves a spot on the top two lines, but if he doesn't just send him back down and get a full season in the AHL with some call-ups. If there are no more personnel changes to happen between now and camp, the opportunity to make the big club in a prominent (i.e. scoring) role is tailor made for him, since we need size and grit up front.
