Max Pacioretty. He actually played in the NHL for a bit and looked very very promising. That makes him #1 over Subban.

I guess we can go right away to no.3 since Patioretty is no.1 and PK Subban is no.2

IMO (note: I rank them on potential to be good in the NHL; not potential to make the NHL. For that reason, Chipchura and Stewart are not there because at best, they are fourth liners):

no.1 - Patioretty
no.2 - Subban
no.3 - Weber
no.4 - Leblanc
no.5 - Maxwell
no.6 - Avstin
no.7 - Carle
no.8 - Yemelin
no.9 - Kristo
no.10 - D'Agostini
no.11 - Fisher
no.12 - Nattinen
no.13 - Bennett
no.14 - Quailer
no.15 - Dumont

This is an amazing list of prospect. The only problem I have, is that there are no sure future first liners there. I just which we could have our Zetterberg or Datsyuk one day. Last time we had such a talented player in a draft was that centerman guy we picked: Andrei Markov.

That was my reasoning for taking Subban...

I consider Pacioretty less of a prospect now, I suppose...

Pacioretty and Subban are definitely above the rest but it's a tough choice between the 2. At the moment, Pacioretty is a more complete player because he's been in the NHL and really knows how to use his skill set. However, Subban has a huge upside and all the tools to become an exceptional D, he just needs to figure out how to put it all together.

Voted for Subban. I believe he will keep improving by leaps and bounds in Hamilton, away from Montreal's pressure and under Guy Boucher.

That's what made me pick the Subbanator!

It's a tie right now.

That guy might be Maxim Trunev, we never know !! From all the forwards, Maxim Trunev is the most intriguing IMO. Trunev looked beautiful to watch. He was did better than Avtsyn at the same age and we saw how good Avtsyn looked at the rookie camp. 6 days younger and Trunev would've been a late first/early second rounder this year. You placed Avstyn at number 6 but Trunev isn't even in you're top 15 ?! Why ?

probably because avstyn is a big center which we need. Or maybe because he's not a fanboy i dunno

MaxPac without a doubt, he has had some games and looks to be ready.

Subban still needs to learn the Pro game, with a spot on D really hard to get this year with the Vets there he will have to be outstanding and a regular shift in Hamilton is better than 7th Dman in Montreal watching from the press box or maybe getting 5-7 minutes a game.
