Its got to be Max Pacioretty! I really like what i saw from him last year on the big squad. Add Mac Bennett to the next list.

I dont think you could go wrong with either Subban or Patches. However, based on his good play in the NHL, I'd say patches is ahead by a hair since we know his game will translate well in the NHL. Subban has not played a game yet although his potential is just as high or maybe higher than Patches.

Add Avtsin

Seems to be pretty clear PK and Patches are in a class by themselves, at least around here. Can't say I disagree although I do think Weber's combination of offense and poise make him stick out from the rest of the pack.

I voted Weber too

Subban may end up the better player but right now weber is the better prospect based on what he can do for us right now

I had a very hard time deciding between Subban and MaxPac but when I finally made my vote they both had 84 each. Pretty cool.

(For the record I went with Subban)

Because I have seen Avstyn while I didn't saw Turnev yet. For the same reason, I voted Patioretty and not Subban. Turnev might be good, but he is more a ghost at this point and looks like a guy that plans to stay in Russia.

Oh, and Avstyn already has a good foot speed, which is a big criteria in my evaluation. I don't know about Turnev.

He plays on the wing. But who know with those Russians. He might end up on D!

I voted Subban but Patches is just there. to close to call. Why?????
Simple, Subban dominated pretty much his position and is burning steps and could definatly surprise come trainning day. Patches did well but could not dominated his position at the world, AHL US college etc.....but I'm very please with his play. He's a good one and could crack the top 6 this season coming. There is just something about his approch.
The way Subban plays is pure beauty, smooth skater, great shot, good vision, solid on his skates and adjusting well.
Patches needs tunning but he is a great skater with a physical element that comes handy and can release a nice shot. As great offensive instinct an a nose for the net.
2 GREAT PLAYERS TO CALL HABS PROSPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a need for a backup. Maybe Trunev will be the Heir Apparent when Sergei is traded.

Still the only one who chalked one up for Kristo? The kid really impressed me at the prospects camp. Size, great shot, crisp passing, intensity, he really stood out.

But I gotta say I kinda omitted Pacioretty from my decision process because he already played with the Habs, and I didn't see them at the same time since Pacioretty was practicing on the other rink.

If your ranking prospects, imo upside should come into play over getting time in the NHL. If you NYI do you rate Josh Bailey over JT?

Me, I have Subban at the top and have had him there because imo his upside is the highest by a lot. But I can see why Pacioretty would be there for others, since he's a safer bet to reach his upside, I just don't think his upside is all that great. I see him as a very good 2nd liner that puts up more assists then goals, plays physical, goes to the net hard. He needs some work on his defensive game and I'd like to see him be more physical.

I'm glad we have both Subban and Pac, can't wait to see how much of an impact they have with the Habs in a couple years (and they are both only 20!) Add Weber, Leblanc, Maxwell, etc... and we got some very interesting prospects for sure.
