Why do the Leafs want to trade Kaberle at all, the way things have turned out now? Who's going to run their transition game and QB the power play? Francois Beauchemin can't be on the ice all the time, and is in any case hardly an elite force in those aspects of the game.
Why do we want to trade him? because his value is up there, and can be used to help our offence get better..
How does it help you offence get better to lose a D-man with 50-60 pt potential whom there are no prospects of replacing from withinthe organisation, and leave the back end pretty much devoid of creativity?
