Sweet, Camera Obscura may be coming back in the States in November. Hopefully it happens.

Just before the last iteration of this thread closed, we were discussing top 5 lists. Not quite on mine; damn close, unbelievable album.

Oh yeah...
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
My Bloody Valentine - Isn't Anything
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures
Husker Du - New Day Rising
The Clash - The Clash (US)
I want to see some Top 20's but that would take a little bit.

I like it, though I always liked Closer a little better than Unknown pleasures. Both are fantastic.
Top 20 might be hard. Although it wouldn't leave so many beloved albums off.

Good for you. If you've never seen the Lips live, you're in for a serious treat.

That's what I've heard. I'd say it's about as stoked as I've ever been prior to a show.

Their set at Jam on the River in 08 was my the best show I've ever seen in my life. If it's general seating it's worth it to get there early to be up front. The second time I saw them I was further back and it wasn't quite as legendary.

I'll probably be there early, for that reason + the fact that I like Explosions a lot too.

Paul McCartney is on Letterman right now. They are playing 'Get Back' on the marquee out front.
