I only count 12 back-to-back - that is low for us.
I got 20. If so, it's better than last year, but I'll be it's still among the highest of any team.

Also 5 friday homes games, and 1 away.

Areana District probably happy about that.

I also like the 12 Saturday night games and the return of the New Years Eve game versus the Preds. Seems like quite a few Monday games though.

Also, this is the first time I remember the Blue Jackets having a Thanksgiving day game (at Sens).

Could really hate detroit if we then play them first round in the playoffs: up to 10 games against them within 3 weeks.

Wow, that's kind of a rough schedule. Looking at January, we have 11 games in 16 nights, with the game @ Philly being smack dab in the middle. April's just brutal. More Detroit... Elgh.

I get to see the Jackets at least once next year live (although it's not in Cbus). Depending on how my breaks lineup I'll probably catch some games in the Nat, luckily.

Did you get Nov 30/Dec 1?

I think we're both wrong - I got 11 this time. March has 31 days and I was counting Mar 30/Apr 1.

The longest road trips and homestands are six games. November 19-December 1 (at Dallas, Nashville, New York Rangers, Montreal, Ottawa and Chicago) will be brutal. Gotta have at least 7 of 12.

Maybe the NHL figured we would be battling for 1st place in the Central Division at this time.

Can't believe I'm going to be in New York the same time the Jackets are. Time to hit up MSG for some tickets.

Portzline is on 97.1 right now and said Howson asked the NHL for more home games down the stretch and fewer back to backs.

Anyone else see road games that they are going to target? I am thinking about the Caps game on Nov 1. Take Monday off and drive home.

I went last January, the 9th if I recall, and saw Filatov light the place up. I recommend you go.

I thought I caught those, but not surprised if I missed some. If we're at 11, I think that's the same as last season, which was one of the highest in the league. Bad deal, IMHO.

Quick count shows 20 back-to-backs, 40 games.
