An amusing ESPN item

I found this thing on ESPN which lets you enter your yearly salary and compare it against Marian Gaborik or another NHL star. For instance I entered my salary and it says that I would need to work 93.47 years to reach Gaboriks annual salary...

Man I always thought I was doing okay, but man I should be Marian Gaborik! He makes more than my yearly salary in less than a single game or half a goal.

If you make 97K you'll get what he gets per game.

To make it more fun, he makes $91,463.41 per game if he plays 82 and $1,524.39 per minute of game time.

Even better would be to take Tiger Woods. According to Forbes, he made $110 million in the past year.

That means that he makes 5.8 cents for every second that he lives. That's sick.

What do you think I talk to my patients about all day!?

Seriously though, it's kind of scary how much money these guys really make in comparison to us fans

You know, back in Soviet Russia, professional athletes made just as much money as regular folk.

That and the cars drove you!
