No idea man. No idea. Goaltenders are pretty hard to predict as far as future success.

We really have no idea.

Bernier has always been highly touted, but all we know is that he's got better "potential"

We've seen a lot more of Quick, and he's been really solid.

Bernier should be better, but until we see him play more than the 5 games he played 2 years ago the edge is with Quick.

As long as one takes the #1 spot and rolls with it, it doesn't matter to me who turns out better. In terms of upside, Bernier has more upside to be the better goalie, but Quick has the better attitude. Like I said, doesn't matter who turns out to be better, just as long as one of them becomes a solid #1.

I think Bernier will be the best in the end, but Quick will still become at minimum a journeyman #1.

It's a toss up, Bernier has a promising future but Quick is our #1 going into next season.

Ii am a big Quick fan. But Gann and were right about Bernier growing up. He looked a lot better at this year's prospect's camp. I would love to have a problem with too many quality goaltending prospects

This is the best case for us Quick at the very worst pushes Bernier to be his best and if Bernier isn't it maybe Jones is he gave up almost no rebounds at camp.... it would be nice to actually have two goalies , something we haven't had since rogie and gary edwards shared the crease...... for the next two years my money is on quick his 'compete' is at a higher level

In 3 years Bernier i think will take over the number one spot but i think it will end up being a splitting of the two with Bernier getting most of the games something like 50 for Bernier and 32 for quick I think that Bernier will be in La by the end of this year if not out of camp. I think we need to have him make the team this year If we are to have the team compete for the cup in 3 years like its generally stated we want then we need to get both goalies some experience in the meantime.

I think in the long run if Bernier applies himself, he will probably come out on top.

The cool thing about this is we don't have to decide today. We can sit back and let it play out until the answer is obvious.

Bernier has much more natural talent, although Quick is a bit more of a raw athlete. Two different styles. We'll see. IMO, Bernier comes out on top in the end. Kid is too good not to, and he's overcome every obstacle put in front of him so far.

Bernier SHOULD be better than Quick in 3 years. But anything can change. From what I am hearing, Quick has a superb mentality, he's got the wits and moves, and the ability to succeed. The guy gets pissed off when he gets scored on in practice?

Bernier has the potential to grow. He should be the franchise G, i mean come on, he was drafted 1st round. But from my understanding, he had a bit of ego trip. Hopefully, he has grown out of that stage.

He wasn't so humble when he demanded a trade to Detroit and only Detroit otherwise he wouldn't play -- then he made the outrageous demand that Buffalo couldn't receive any of Detroit's key players in return that would hurt their chances at the cup - this of course hamstrung his GM and forced his way there only leaving a semi-low price in return for the deal. Hasek had to sign off that Kozlov and a first was a good price that wouldn't hurt the Wings before the deal was made. He wanted a guaranteed cup... Later Hasek wasn't happy with the trade because he still thought Detroit gave up too much... Talk about ridiculous

Roy, Brodeur, Hextall They were all headcases when they were in the crease and throughout their careers.

So much of goaltending is mental.

Whoever is stronger between the ears will end up being the better player.

I think Quick really has it together mentally, and I don't think he has any mechanical issues either. Very competitive.

I'm a bernier fan. I look at his ego/attitude what ever you wanna call it as a good thing. I agree he is or was a little immature. But I think he got "it".

I'm as big a Bernier fan as anyone, and I'm thrilled that we're taking are time with this kid and giving him the development he needs.

I'm still pinching myself over the fact that the Kings actually have promising goaltending at all, much less 2 potential stars.
