If he didn't have a temper and a reputation for taking bad penalties, he'd be top-25. As it stands, he's a decent defensive D-man when not in the box, and a consistent 40+ point guy who can QB a #2 PP unit, or a #1 unit when necessary. That's as of last season. He's still young and will probably improve in all the aforementioned aspects.
I know that he won't get even a hint of consideration for top 60 but Dennis Grebeshkov will be a top 15 d-man within 2 years. I'm not a pie-in-the-sky assessor of Oiler talent but he is an exceptional talent and a future #1 guy on the Oilers.
kevin bieksa he is a two way defenceman who put up 40 points when every year he played at least 70 games in he occasinaly drops the gloves mostly never losses in fights has a good shoot and can play on the power play on both units and i think he should have gone a couple spots earlier and add alex edler
I voted for him, Bieska isn't a bad choice either. Erik Johnson is good, but he don't deserve to be #32 on that list since he played only 1 season, I think there is a couple of dman better than him left on that list.
