Prospect Info: Macarthur

Hey guys! What do you know about Pete Macarthur? He played on the Ice Hogs last year and hes a good buddy of mine and i'm just wondering hows he doing, where do you see him in a couple of years, and in his prime etc etc. Give me a little shakedown on the guy. How did he play in Rockford and does he have a chance of crackin the big league lineup anytime soon? Thanks

If he's a good buddy of yours why don't you call him and ask how things are going?

And no he has almost a zero shot to make the Hawks this year. He did sign a 1 year contract just a few days ago if I remember correctly.

I answered that for you.

And to be honest, I don't know much about him but I can pretty much tell you he wouldn't crack many top 10 lists for Hawks propspects.

Just to name a few off the top of my head. He's already 24 and is only 5'10" 180.

He did hold his own in a fight against Kronwall last year:

We all follow Rockford to an extent thanks to our amazing talent pool in the system. No offense but I posted a "rank McArthur" thread on another Hawks board and he didn't really crack anyone's top 15 list. Looks like a career AHLer to me... which is way better than I could have ever done and he'll likely make 2x more than I will in my life, haha.
