Im not sure I can do both only because Ive promised my Caps fan friend I'd go to opening night (hopefully) with him and then I am gunning to go to the Classic which will obviously not be cheap. So I likely can only get to this one LF group game. I promise to make the most of it though
Okay I have a favor to ask of someone. If it's possible could someone get me a list of hotels and the contact numbers around the arena.
I just talked it over with Mama Godfather and she doesn't see a problem and when I asked if she would come she said she would but we wouldn't fly.
So if someone could do that for me I would appreciate it very much.
Oh what is the start time for the game that day ?
the drive from ontario is very boring, be warned! im sure youve done it before though. for hotels, there is a marriott, sheraton, and westin in back bay, about a 35-40 minute walk through the city/"public gardens" to the arena. it sounds far, but it would be a fun walk getting there if the weather isnt TOO bad. i would suggest a cab/subway going back.
i always recommend staying outside the city, a few miles south in a holiday/ramada or something. you wont have to worry about traffic, the subway is right there, and lets face it...you wont be in the room much anyways so it doesnt make a difference. braintree also has a subway stop with a holiday inn close by. rates for hotels are tough though, probably 100 bucks minimum, but expect to double it for something in the city.
