Are you guys actually, like, good? I can't skate very well but I'm always down to give something a shot. I don't have any equipment, though. I mean I have skates and I can get a stick, but that's it.

There's a pretty good mix. Most are pretty quick with solid skating skills and can handle the puck well. I'm slower, and there are a few like me. You'll need some gear though, most decidedly a helmet (there's almost certainly a house rule about that) and gloves. Shin guards are always a good idea...always. The rest is probably up to you, but the puck will hurt if it hits you and you're inadequately protected (and can't get out of the way).

September sounds fine, I wasn't thinking about vacations or anything. Really any of the places we have played at before work so I guess we should pick a few dates and I can call the rinks up and see about availability.

I'd likely be in - nailing down the date soon will really help as I usually make my work schedule 6 weeks in advance or so and I do work some Saturday nights.
