Can anyone post the lines that were used when we won the cup? If possible even find PP and PK lines

Miller/Kunitz/Marchant - McDonald Selanne
May/Penner - Getzlaf - Perry
Moen - Pahlsson - Niedermayer
May/Penner - Marchant/Carter - Motzko/Thornton

Niedermayer - Beauchemin
Pronger - O'Donnell
Huskins - Dipenta/Jackman

When Kunitz was hurt Marchant was most frequently used on the first line although Penner, Miller and May also spent some time playing with Selanne and McDonald. The fourth line hardly ever played and the only combinations that stayed in tact were Getzlaf/Perry, Selanne/McDonald and the shutdown line.

Forwards:
Kunitz-AndyMac-Selanne
Penner-Getzlaf-Perry
Moen-Pahlsson-Niedermayer
May-Marchant-S. Thornton

Defense:
Niedermayer-Beauchemin
Pronger-O'Donnell
Huskins-DiPenta

Goalies:
Giguere
Bryzgalov

Powerplay:
Penner-Getzlaf-Selanne-Niedermayer-Pronger
Kunitz-AndyMac-Perry-Beauchemin-

powerplay lines changed a lot, sometimes Getzlaf would play the point

Penalty Kill:
Moen-Marchant-Niedermayer-O'Donnell
Niedermayer-Pahlsson-Pronger-Beauchemin

these also changed depending on who was rested or not

These are the lines from the game that clinched the championship btw. Other games might have Ric Jackman, R. Carter, D. Miller, etc.

I seem to recall that PK1 was Pahlsson-Niedermayer-Niedermayer-Beauchemin. Could be wrong.

In general, Niedermayer-Beauchemin was used to shut down the top lines, although the defense wasn't matched as rigorously as the Pahlsson line.

We won the Cup with Huskins and DiPenta as a 3rd pair, and people complain about Boynton-Brookbank.

Actually our overall group of defensemen was better in 07-08 and in the 08-09 playoffs than in 06-07, but the team balance was far worse.

Our last years defence was ridiculously better -as far as names go- than the cup winning one. Think about it, when Pronger was suspended we won two games with Huskins, Dipenta and Jackman all playing. That's what a Giggy in-form gives you.

It seemed every line contributed something, that's what made that team so good. Jackman being subbed in and scoring a goal? Pronger being suspended twice and the rest of the D picking up the slack. Twas nice.

Yeah, I might be wrong with the PK lines, I just quickly looked at the DVD, might've been different because of how many shifts were played by the PKers before the PK. It did look strange to see Pronger Beauchemin on one penalty kill and O'Donnel S. Niedermayer on the other.
