Jack has been money on shootouts/breakaways back to his days with the NTDP. On a team with Phil Kessel, Peter Mueller, Jack Skille, Nate Gerbe, and Erik Johnson he was always one of the top shooters.

Kane didn't play on that team he was with the U-17 team playing with guys like Mike Carman, Bill Sweatt, and Rhett Rakhshani that year. Erik Johnson split the year between the U-17 and U-18 teams.
