I don't go by salary. I go by who plays better.

I thought Redden was far more effective under Tortorella.

I think it is pretty clear that Avery has won this poll. Im torn with this, even though i voted for Avery. Avery has the skill, grit and speed to be a very effective 2nd liner, especially since he plays his best hockey in NY. However, there is Kotalik who seems to have been brought in part to motivate Drury for he will be reunited with an old teammate of his in Buffalo.

Avery has won this poll, but it may not pan out to be this way during the season.

The fact that Kotalik was most likely brought in to increase Drury's production, seeing how they played together on the same line in Buffalo and already have chemistry together.

Guess it wasn't as common sense as I thought.

I didn't necessarily see it that way. I saw it as they brought in Kotalik to replace Zherdev at a cheaper price than Zherdev was likely to get in arbitration.

they played on the same line together, but Buffalo fans seem to think their "chemistry" is overblown. they said that Kotalik didn't like playing with Drury.
