Care to back this up with some actual information before you make misguided, misinformed judgments about a couple of players you've probably seen play five times total, collectively, and maybe just once or twice in person?
lmfao - calm down there, FRANCIS. I've seen Tuebert play once in the World Juniors and have never seen Loktionov. I'm sure you have seen them hundreds of times, My statement was based on the fact that Tuebert was taken high in the first round ONE YEAR AGO and Loktionov was a 4th rounder. I'm going out on a limb that the hockey experts that had them both ranked where they were taken probably know a bit more that some tool on the internet. Jesus, I even said that Loktionov may end up as the better player eventually, but there is no way you can make that call now.
Seriously, it should have never been those close to begin with.
The round argument about a player is cute, and works until, oh, I don't know, they finish their following season with their respective clubs. The idea that Loki is behind Teubert now is not only comical, but a lot of GMs are pissed that they didn't do what Dean did, that is, fly ****ing coach all the way to the ass ends of western Russia to meet with Loki and see him play in two rinky dink tournaments and get an idea about the kid and develop a rapport that allowed him the confidence to select him, knowing he was a good bet for America. Dean did that himself. Endured all the ******** that comes with traveling that far (coach no less) to get the job done. Nobody does what Dean does. Nobody.
