Switching Runners

the steel broke on my skate, the holder is a 306 and the one i want to switch it with is a 296, will it fit? also the 306 is a ls2 and the other is a custom plus

No, it won't fit. Not only do the lengths make it impossible, but each steel is different to mount to the holder (LS2 has one bolt and a hook, Custom+ I believe has 2 bolts).

Your shop will most likely have it, or you can have in by Friday if you just order it online. My shop might even have the 306 you need, but I won't be in until Tuesday.

Not a problem. if you have access to Manhattan during the week and we have the steel, you're more then welcome to come by the shop to have it fixed. Drop a PM if you wish.

besides them not fitting, you will be changing the length of your runner, to a smaller one, which would totally change your feel on the ice.

you'll need to switch the holders as well... it may be really costly when all is done.
