What are the chances he makes the Bolts this upcoming season? Also what role do you see him potentially having with the club? I know he was a former 1st round pick ( 11th overall in 2004) so there must be some skill there.

i'm pulling for him, but i doubt he makes it.

if you are asking as a fan i'd say he gets some games at the NHL level. i don't see him sticking.

if you are asking from a fantasy angle, nadda on value.

his role is as a power forward, but he gets hurt too often playing his style. this has led to a diminishing of his skills imho.

this is definitely a time i hope i am wrong.

If he makes the team, probably 3rd line. If we are still missing a top 6 forward he could become filler for the 2nd line role like Downie or whoever else can do it...but that's only if he makes the team. Right now I'd say he has as good a shot as any other bottom 6/Norfolk player. The difference will be how he comes to camp. If he really wants to make the team, I would suggest he train hard. I know Blair Jones, Brandon Bochenski, Steve Downie, Paul Szczechura, and other young players who are looking to make the team have visited the strength and conditioning coach Chuck Lobe in Minnesota, so I think it would be a good idea if he went there to train a little bit too.
