Although Ziggy isn´t taking part in the camp, he actually said himself on Tv that he wants to play in Vancouver. I´m not sure how trustworthy it is form the mouth of a guy who´s been pretty much repeating over and over to the reporters to stop him asking about NT and that he told them he was over with it in 2005. So I´m not really 100% expecting him to play, but I guess if he plays we have to send a big thank you to Jozko Stumpel, who is by far Palffy´s favourite center and has been according to Ziggy himself bugging him about the Olympics for quite sometime now and doesn´t plan to stop with that anytime soon. This is pretty much their last chance to play together, because even if Stumpel decides to come back finish his career in Slovakia it most probably will be in Nitra where he grew up not in Skalica.

The guy hasn't played a game for the Kings in 5 years. Why are we still clinging?

Well sorry for enjoying his play and having a soft spot for him. he and the crowd at staples on a saturday afternoon are the reasons i fell in love with this team and game.

Im excited to see him play one last time among his peers, his swan song if you will. its really the only thing im looking forward to for the Olympics. If you have other reasons more power to you

No matter how that team shapes up, itis going to be one terrible squad. It's full of prospects, fringe NHLers, and overage former NHLers. And there doesn't appear to be much in the wings for Slovakian hockey. That's too bad; hockey needs as many competitive nations as possible to sell the sport...

Neither did the guy who wore that #16 jersey hanging in our rafters.

Ziggy was what kept us sane in the Taylor management era. The guy was flat out unbelievable when he was here.

I hope he's on that team.

Not really, he only said that he wants to play there, he´s not even attending the camp.

TBH, I won´t believe until I see him on the ice in Vancouver.
