Kotalik likes the point. So it would most likely be him and Babchuk (if he is acquired). I'm sure you could put Callahan on the 1st unit.

But imagine Babchuk and Kotalik on the points.

Yes but ales does his best work off the wall and in the slot for one timers. I would not want him as a pointman, he doesn't skate that well and would be better using his size down lower. His shot is lethal though.

I would prefer redden at the point as he is a very accurate passer and gives us some def protection.

Babchuck is a disaster in his own zone, and he is not a PP QB in the slightest, he is a shooter. He can't run a PP.

If we where to acquired Babchuck, he and Kotalik would play the point on different PP units, Roszival and Redden would play the opposite point on each unit.

Babchuck and kotalik are the same player on the PP...Bombs away!

Someone on the trade rumors board mentioned that Prospal may be willing to take a lot less from a team he really wants to play for. This is because the buyout is paying him his money anyway. If he's okay with a 1-year deal and depending on what "a lot less" meant, I'd definitely be interested. He's capable of 40 assists, which we need, if he's playing with the right guys. Did he and Tortorella get along?

Just a thought. I'm okay with staying pat.

Keep the $60 and wait for NHL 10 to be released.

You never know what's gonna happen during the season so if you need to make a trade, you have the cap space to do it.
Book It!

Kotalik should be on the point. His one-timer can be utilized much more if he is out there and it also makes the other team pull a player out to shadow him and his shot leaving more room for others.

If you thought the amount of short-handed goals last year were bad wait until you see that and they would never have possession of the puck because all they would do is shoot, neither of them is a good passer.
