WTF?

How many guys we need in Hamilton? Is he gonna fight Sanford for the (apparently) critical 3rd goalie spot?

Gainey if true (and don't get a good upgrade at the position we are trading for).

And why give him a 2-way if so? I think it's safe to say he's a much better goalie than Sanford.

what do you mean? If we trade Halak it wont be for scraps believe me! He'll be packaged. And I would argue that Fernandez is better than Halak. And fernandez knows his role

Eklund was saying yesterday that Chicago was interested in Halak but we know what that means. He probably be traded to LA. lol.

If it means trading Halak to upgrade our second line I am all for it. We have to wait and see.

If Halak is indeed traded and bring us something like Marleau and that Fernandez is second to price.....

I would be pretty happy about this

Doesn't make much sense to me, why wouldn't we have Sanford as a backup if we're going to trade Halak? Any credible source backing this up?

Fernandez would backup because he is better than Sanford, and mor eimportantly has more experience as a starter which means he would be a better mentor for Price.

i'll say it before eklund does (because i actually think it's true). If this happens, it will start a domino affect.

I guess that's right, I always figured they'd keep Halak and see how they're both playing, let Halak play some games to upgrade his trade value and trade him at some point during the season when they're certain Price is fine, and have Sanford finish the season as a backup.

I would imagine it would have been a few hours ago. Does CKAC operate on a time schedule to talk about certain things ?
