"Andreis Markov and Kostitsyn" means Andrei Markov and Andrei Kostitsyn.
Anyway, the proposal is just awful for the Hawks. Kane may be a selfish, snobby, greedy, arrogant person, but it doesn't mean he should be traded. He's still untouchable, I'd imagine.
Hawks are noticeably upgrading on defense (Markov >> Campbell (considerably if you factor in cap hits), Gorges >>> Hawks' #6), upgrading in goal (Huet's inconsistency and proneness to fatigue is really gonna start showing by the 2nd round and onward, Halak takes a ton of pressure off during the season and gives them a potentially Varlamov-esque playoff starter), becoming much healthier cap-wise going towards the future, and Kostitsyn, while not the playmaker and scorer Kane is, can still be counted on for a 30-30 contribution (and likely more as he keeps developing) and is pretty big and much more physical than people give him credit for. Defensively better than Kane as well, not that that's saying much.
