Danick Paquette, Whats the word on Him

I've heard people call him a destructive force on the ice to opposing teams and a very rough, unskilled, talentless player.

Anyone that follows the Q have any info on this guy? Do you think he'll pan out to be an NHL'er? Will he be successful? And What NHL'er would you compare him to?

Poor's man Lucic upside.

He is a good agitator, he can also fight, thought a really bad skater, but he can score garbage goals or deflects goal from time to time.

He isn't that big but he hits everything like a train.

Could probably develop into an enforcer in the NHL, 4th liner with the odd goal, if everything pans out he could probably be a 10-15 goals scorer in the NHL.

He's kind of a Ian Laperriere.

Except I just don't see the talent level for him to top out as a solid 3rd liner. Also, his size is kind of a problem for his style of play (only 6').

Most likely a 4th line brawler with some offensive upside/career AHLer.

But I got to say, he's got a great motor and a good psyche. Could definately make it to the NHL even without the skillset. But he'll probably have a short prime and some injury issues.

He reminds me of Steve Downie and Milan Lucic put together . He has the short temper of Downie , the checking ability of a Lucic .
The only down side are his cement feet and somewhat stone hands.

He plays so much on the edge , like Downie , that alot of times he goes over it .

This year he will be playing with Patrick Roy so I'm sure he will be on the edge , but i think Roy can calm him down abit to play productive hockey insted of hurting his team with peneltys.
