I went with Wandell over Roman because Wandell seems to have the ability to contribute on any line. He's defensively responsible, and he's shown offensive ability. While I see Roman and Wandell as having very similar potential on a scoring line, I don't think Roman would be an effective player in a checking role or 4th line duty.
Ideally, I could see Wandell as the 4th line center playing about 10 minutes a game in 2010. He could then play his way up the lineup. Roman’s more of a boom or bust player. The same could be said of Sergei Korostin.
