I believe he's right. There will be no hockey this season.

Yeah, tell me about it. I had to take a double take at that article before remembering we signed him as well as Knuble. I love the Knuble signing though, so it's easy to understand why Turner would get overlooked from time to time.
I agree with him though, I don't hold out hope for seeing any NHL hockey this season.

Some harsh words for the younger players by Stevenson. You better score some goals early Turner if you want me cheering for you.

Actually, he will drop the gloves unlike our other so-called enforcer Huggy Bear Brashear. :lol Turner may lose but he will actually fight.

I think he fails to realize that he himself would not be missed if he left the game tomorrow. I lost some respect for him after these moronic comments.

That works for me too. I'm really dissapointed in Esche's comments though.

I agree with Esche. I don't agree with the player's position, but Esche is right, Bettman is not a fan of the game. What about Bettman makes you think he is?

I agree with what he said, what kind of commissioner kills off the league?

Completely agree here. Butt-man keeps talking about the league's serious financial problems... Thing is, these problems only started when Nutjob Gary was named commissioner. I want to know how Bettman would refute that accusation.

I knew that Bettman wasn't a "fan" of the game, but I didn't think about it. However, now that its in my head, maybe NBA Commissioner David Stern is paying Bettman to run the league into the ground to better the audiences for the NBA. And then when the NHL is completely destroyed, Bettman can return to his cushy basketball job.

Seems the players are getting very antsy these days, there comments are becoming more and more vicious.
As for Esche calling Bettman a madman, a little over the top, but obviously venting his frustration with an inept commisioner.

He's just verbalizing what everyone is thinking. I applaud him for it. Calling out the commish of a major sport takes serious cajones... or, it would if said commissioner wasn't a 3-foot tall Oompa Loompa.
