yeah if only the Stars could have defensive greats such as Shane O'Brien and Nolan Baumgartner roaming the blue line.
OP: I think the asking price for Robidas should be a solid veteran 2nd line RW'er. That's the position of need for the Stars right now.
This is true. The problem though, is that Robidas' contract and worth to the team make him virtually untradeable because the contract for said RW won't be nearly as cheap as Robidas'. Add to that the fact that for all intents and purposes (is that the phrase?) is the D-corps captain with a bundle of 23ish year old players, and a proven playoff player. He's probably worth more to the Stars than any other team should rightly want to give up.
Ive ask this before but would Chicago trade Sharp??
solid second line right shot RW would help Dallas up front and in doing so the hawks would free up 2mill in cap space..and geta solid defensive defensman, I realise the hawks have a bit of a logjam there so, so they might not have a need for robi, but he would be a the perfect 2nd or 3rd pairing d man for a deep playoff run in Chicago...
Could the hawks and stars base a package around these two?
