Rosie doesn't have negative value. If he'll be traded, an asset will come back. Rosie is more valuable than Gomez, easily.

Montreal got killed in that trade, but the point is that everyone in the business agreed that Gomez had real value. It wasn't like Gainey wanted to pay and everyone else from scouts to the President screamed no.

I do think that Rosie can bring back a second line player or a third liner plus a good prospect. He's a very solid #2 defenseman.

If we get rid of Dubinsky, we have, what, two forwards from last season? I know the season was a train wreck offensively, but man... There's something to be said for continuity.

I would do the trade in the other thread centered around Rozsival and Klesla, or something bringing Tyutin back.

sather did that already. what i want to do is set the team up for the future. i could give a rats ass about next season if we are just going to get bounced out again in the first round.
what i want is to have a true number one line.
kuvy-dubi-gaby or
cally-savard-gaby
after that it will be all our prospects getting to play.
so yes i do take the team apart a bit but its so there can be a team that will play for the next 4-6 years together. right now its going to be hard to sign our young players.

no absolutely not, unless dubinsky fails miserably centering gaborik. no. why even talk about a trade for a number one center without seeing if dubi can get the job done? trading him now would follow the same ******** mentality thats hampered the rangers for years.
