So the first 3 games are essentially a road trip.

Kind of like that.

I might go to the Toronto game if the cheap seats are the same ($46.75)

Does anyone know?

It's one exhibition game that won't have a problem selling out.

The Philadelphia Flyers and the Toronto Maple Leafs will play a September 17th exhibition game at the John Labatt Centre.

It will be the sixth time the Flyers have played an exhibition game at the JLC. Last year they brought in the New York Islanders.

"It's great to have the Leafs here," said Brian Ohl, general manager of the John Labatt Centre. "The popularity of the Leafs speaks for itself. The phones are already ringing. E-mails are flying. There is a buzz about it."

Preseason records are incomplete but from what I found, the Flyers and Leafs haven't played in the preseason since 1973.

Got tickets via the presale this morning. Since I logged in at 10:02 and ended up with upper deck as 'best available' it's probably sold out by now....

It sells out fast for Flyers vs. anybody, but with the Leafs as the opponent - and all the fights that will be happening - they went really fast this year.

They've got training camp listed on the Flyers site as starting Sept. 11, with dates listed through the weekend. Does anyone know if those dates are open to the public? If so, I'd like to take my kids for a session.

I know the Caps open camp up. I just haven't been around for many Flyers camsp recently, and I'm always up to my neck in football. This year, I can get a day, and my kids would dig it.

Mark Bell is walking on. The guy was a 50 point guy before his drinking problems.
Quote:
Bell was charged with hit and run and driving under the influence.[6] Both are felony offences. His arraignment was set for January 3, 2007.[7] Bell pleaded no contest to drunk driving causing injury and hit-and-run on August 14, 2007. Prior to sentencing, Bell had to pay restitution, including medical bills and the cost of the vehicle to Villafana, who has also filed a civil suit seeking "unlimited damages".[8] He was to serve six months in jail after completing the 2007-08 hockey season but later told to work in a California jail which he did from June 2nd, 2008 to August 15th, 2008.[9]
