I think people are overblowing the Komisarek-Lucic fight. Sure, Lucic made him look like a *****. But it wouldn't go like that every time they fought. If they went 10 times i bet it would be pretty even. Komisarek actually went with Brashear a couple years back and managed not to get hurt lol. Lucic just runs away from Brashear's equivalent in Laraque.

BJ Penn(or was it Matt Serra? don't follow it much) made GSP look like a ***** before as well, but look what happened the next time they fought..

And still get his azz handed to him.

I see Komi challenging a lot of the Habs, but, not with the expectation of actually fighting them. More to get under their skin and get them off their game. No doubt Moen & Stewart will be doing the same to him every chance they get & at some point he will probably oblige.

Sometimes you have to wonder how someone who's never seen a hockley games finds has the inclination to post on a hockey board.

Just for the record, it was Matt Serra. GSP is 2-0 vs BJ Penn and BJ has 10 times the credentials that Serra has, which further supports your point.

I remember an incident last year in practice where Komi and Laps got in a tussle. No punches were thrown since BGL was standing in-between them. It was reported and had a video of the moment on Habsinsideout.com . Everyone was making a big deal out of Saku just watching and not doing anything. Anyways, I could see those two go at it and probably be an even fight. Neither of them are scrappers.

I love Komi when he hits, but come on guys............He CAN'T fight. Stewart, Mara, Moen, BGL, even maybe Laps and Chipchura will work him over.

My vote is on Laps since they have a history and Komi probably feels like he can take him. I just hope that before Laps decides to throw his gloves off Moen is already beating that traitors head in.

BOOM!!

An healthy, ready BGL is really an asset. He can score 20-25 points, and bring weight and respect.

Okay, not as much respect as if he was a complete lunatic, born of a mix of Ron Hextall, Mike Tyson and René Angelil, but enough to slow down the other team's willingness to be dirty.

I hope his back problems were overstated. Last season was his worst in career. I don't think we should judge him on that trainwreck of a season.

Unless he has another one.

Hey, if it's good enough to be in a paper and some other posters have used it, then later were made fun of, but i missed that part, then I can post whatever I please and pass it off as truth, when in reality, it's far from the truth.

I wasn't aware that "BGL at Pearn's camp in Edmonton" was about fighting...

I could have sworn that it was about Laraque and others getting into shape for the coming year.

I guess, like zurg999 said on post #6, that this thread got taken over by a "bunch of 13 year olds talking about kicking ass."

In any case, it is good that tweens and early teens get to contribute to our discussions. I'd just hope that they would stick to the topics and/or be constructive about them and not go all-out hormone raging puberty over it all.

I hope he's ready. Nothing says a good start to the season than a Orr, Laraque fight. If he stays healthy and proves he can keep up with the play somewhat like he did before in his career he could easily play 60ish+ games.

That's neither here nor there... not relevant, if you will.

The topic of this thread wasn't about fighting, it was about a fitness and training camp.

My, you've done a lot of postings for such a very young guy.

Does anyone else remember that game last season (against Boston I think) where two players were shoving along the boards after the whistle and only Komi and some other player were nearby? Even though no fight started, Komi went and hugged the guy while watching.
