Watch Jarvis screw up the streak tomorrow by giving Ellis the start. Watch just watch.

IF that happens then NWTHabsFan's thinking that Dallas signed the deal with the Habs demanding they play Ellis on a regular basis will be spot on IMO. There is absolutely ZERO reason to start Ellis tomorrow. We just dominated these guys in 2 straight games with Danis in goal, there is no travel tonite and no early morning arrival in another city and Danis can certainly play 3 games in one week. If it ain't broken...

raider, CJAD is out of Montreal, so they won't be the home of the Dogs any time soon.

all in all, nice win by Hamilton. Higgins coming back tomorrow will be a nice boost as we go for the sweeeeeeeeeeep of these Barons.

when it comes to ellis needing to play, have there been such contracts in the past between affiliates that are sharing a team?

Thing is, I would expect Danis to play 2 of the 3 games next week. And if he does along with tomorrow's game, that would mean that Ellis would have 1 game in 2 weeks. Hardly enough for a young prospect. And this team is all about development.

So yeah, I would expect Ellis to Start tomorrow. And I understand why, but I don't like it.

there are other teams though that use their backups less frequently. grand rapids backup made his appearance of the season tonight.

danis is co-leader in the AHL in wins with six. pretty impressive for a rookie. trading garon doesnt look so bad now(if it ever did at all).

Don't know about you guys, but never had I expected to see Locke and Thinel top-3 in scoring for the Dogs after 10 games. Hope they keep this up, seems they are negating the size factor at the next level once more, especially for Locke (speaking of Locke, where's Russian Fan? ). Don't know if they'll keep it up, but they're both on pace for 50+ pt seasons, both playing in the AHL for the 1st time.
