Here's another article

http://www.faceoff.com/hockey/nhlnew...opstories.atom

His poise and composure convinced Yzerman to invite him over proven NHL defence-men like Brian Campbell and Ed Jovanovski.

"I'll never forget when I saw I had the voice mail and listened to it," Doughty said Thursday. "Whenever it said it needed to be deleted, I'd just save it again. I've had it for a while. Now I broke the phone, it kind of sucks."

I wonder how he broke it.

The magnitude of the camp hit Doughty on the first day of practice.

"I was partnered with Chris Pronger," he said, wide-eyed. "That was pretty amazing."

From a different article:

``I saved his message so I could hear it over again, but I dropped my phone in the water and now the phone doesn't work,'' Doughty said. ``I can't hear what he said. Really disappointing.''

It doesn't matter if he is a long shot, i just love his attitude. He believes he can make it and will approach it like he will. He has so much confidence for such a young kid.

Looks like Smyth had a good day at the Team Canada game, Doughty isn't shown too well in those highlights as he gets scored on and later stripped from, but who knows how it looked in the end.

Here is the summary and write-up on it:
