I think that's probably a solid guess; maybe Luko is gone, too. To whom and for what, though? DW was believed to be able to move Cheech "in one phonecall" and I heard the Isles liked him. It'll be sad to see him go, but after such a long, boring summer, I cannot wait to hear what comes.

Luko would be a good guess too since we have 7 defensemen on NHL contracts. Maybe a package of him and Cheechoo could fetch a decent pick or prospect.

That's what it says on Pollak's blog now too. That seems like a terrible return for Ehrhoff. White might pan out to something, but Rahimi is in the ECHL. (Is he actually decent, and it's just that the Canucks have a glut of stay at home dmen). This pretty much guarantees that the Sharks are going to have Moore or Joslin as a regular dman.

wait eklund has credibility? that is some news to me. he was interesting during the lockout, but that was the only time he was interesting. and the only reason he was interesting is because he was one of the only one's really talking about it.
