"It's fun," said Kopitar. "I like it. This is not pressure. It's an honor to hear that kind of talk. I came here to play in the best league in the world and hopefully be considered as one of the best players. Most of all, I want to win. I want the responsibility."

With the consistency of Smyth going to the net will allow Kopitar more room inside the circles which should create alot more scoring opportunities. Smyth will also show other Kings the desire he has to pay the price and maybe they come to realize that they need to pay that price too.

Kopitar 41 goals 45 assists = 85 pts.

Kopitar said he "immediately clicked" with Adams... "We even did some running on the beach in LA," said Kopitar. "I was a big fan of that exercise.".

No, no, you've got it right because you're factoring that goal of Kopitar's that will be wrongly disallowed a couple of months from now.

I'm already putting it on the calendar in early Nov. and planning for it to be a very bad day. I'll need extra beer in the fridge that night. OMG will we all ever be p.o.'d when that happens.

In all fairness to Kopitar (who I have been hard on for a while), it didn't help that Brown stopped playing like a power forward for decent parts of last season. Smyth should create a lot of room for Kopi next year, as well as a healthy Williams
