But there is a good chance Lukowich would play on the Moose.

That depends on how many veterans the Moose have this season. They already have Keane for sure, Baumgartner.

for Rome and Nycholat to sent down. They have to clear waivers, I think one of them or both of them could be claim

about 19 year old not aloud to play in the ahl. Is that like a new rule in the cba or something. I remember in the past lot of 19 year old played in the ahl. Kesler played in the ahl at 19. Also Jason spezza played in the ahl at 19 too.

Does somebody have link saying 19 year can't play in the ahl

If a player is drafted out of the CHL, he can not play in the AHL until he is 20 unless he has played four full seasons in the CHL (which is why Spezza could play in the AHL at 19)

We'd have to thrown in a lot more than that to get Wilson to agree.

Morgan Clark should do.

Or their CHL season is done. Like Hodgson did with the Moose last season.

That's assuming that the Canucks have a healthy defense corps, which I'm sure they never will. I imagine Rome and/or Nycholat will spend a decent amount of time as a press-box warming callup.

Yes, he is junior eligible for 2 more years (1 overage).

if healthy, I'd think Funk should be up a few rungs on that ladder. he's at least had a taste of the NHL, although it will all depend on how his concussions have impacted his game. and Baumer shouldn't even be on the list at this point. with all due respect to him, he's not an NHLer any more (if he ever was) and if we get down to the 9-10-11 slots on our depth chart, I'd rather give the minutes to a guy with some upside. not hating on Nolan, but he's working towards a career in coaching at this point.

Rome is waiver ineligible, no? so he'll have an advantage over the rest as the first call-up spot would be his to lose.

but how does Nycholat work? is it like NHL09 in that there is a period at the beginning of the season where he can be assigned to Manitoba without having to go on waivers first? if not, seems unlikely that he''ll clear. but with 8 guys ahead of him I guess he'll be battling it out with Luko for the 8th spot (if Gillis/AV do keep 8 dmen). considering we're suddenly an offensive juggernaut on the back end, I'd think Luko's cup rings gives him the advantage. I doubt Nycholat has any trade value, but I'll be surprised if he's still in the organization come Oct. 01. McIver is also in the same situation, no?

lots of depth right now, but seems likely we'll lose at least 1-2 players to the waiver wire.

McIver seems ready to go

http://www.theguardian.pe.ca/index.cfm?sid=283094&sc=99

McIver had a pretty brutal run with the Ducks last year and showed himself to have big trouble handling outside speed. Then he got injured and his whole season went in the toilet.

Hopefully he can get his career back on track and a have a good year with the Moose.
