This would mean that there is no hope of getting him back over here. What do you guys think? Is this the end to any fantasy of a top 6 containing two Karlssons?

Have you been missing in action I'm pretty sure this was known for quite a while now.

Old News, he signed for Timra a while ago

Meh, never really a dream... More I would just love to see Bob Cole call a game with them as a pairing. And the signing had been rumored, but neither Karlsson nor the organization confirmed it, meaning it could have been total B.S. From what I heard, nothing was official till he suited up... which would be now.

That's too bad. He was my favourite B-Sens player.

He was always going to be a career AHL'er unless he dramatically improved his skating...

At least now he is maybe happy to be back playing at home....

It's not the end btw!

We could have two brothers named Karlsson patrolling the blueline if we draft Erik's brother this year!

Not sure. I have asked in the Swedish forum but it's petty dead there and nobody has replied. I knew of him 2 years ago but I have no idea as to where he will project. He is also listed as 6'0 which is good as well...

As a comparable, at the same age, Erik put up a ppg pace in the J20 league of 38 points in 37 games, whereas Pelle only put up 2 points in 13 games.

So no, I guess he doesn't sound as talented as his older brother.

This season will go along way to determine if Pelle will get drafted this year.

I was being sarcastic, but if he turns out to be a solid guy and we're picking around where he's at... it would be nice to get him.

From April 22th, it was a confirmed signing by Timra official site, not a rumour

As someone who doesn't know very much about Mattias Karlsson, I still hope he comes back.

51 points in 73 games as a rookie AHL defenseman is pretty good. Plus a Karlsson-Karlsson pairing would be awesome.
