Overpayment from Montreal. I'm from Ottawa and hate the Habs like a fat kid on a diet hates cake but it's a massive overpayment from Montreal.

Mtl gets a good 2way center. And a good checking winger. And a great defensive prospect.

Pens get a center who plays all situations, two potential top 6 wingers and a young back up who can make a statement.

It wouldn't happen because of the cap. I find this deal could work.

PIT
Staal, Dupuis, Eaton

MTL
Plekanec, Both Kostitsyns, O'byrne and a pick

The report I seen at the end of the cup was that Dupuis lost his minutes and gameplay because of his poor play and wasn't playing well. He would take Talbots spot in the deal pittsburgh is going to wanna keep him considering he is cheap, heart and sould player on the team, plus a hell of a player around the league. I find talbot is a player every team should have because of the way he plays and is a team player. He admits he does not have a shot or a good pass, but gets the job done thats why he is valueable to pitts at the price he is making. Eaton at 2 mill a season would be an alright move for pittsburgh seeing he is injured alot.

I find the deal fair but I just dont see PIT moving it maybe just dupuis and eaton but I have a hard time seeing them move Staal.

You were doing so well with "Why does" ! You should have stopped there.

Jordan Staal is Shero's legacy...there is no way Ray is going to dump him off like that.

Yeah, this makes sense. They don't play soccer in England.

Send a message via ICQ to Lemieuxfan
sounds like we never discussed the 2X Kostitsyns for Staal, yet...

The Penguins don't want the Kostitsyn brothers, period. ESPECIALLY at the cost of Jordan Staal, Max Talbot (the heart and soul of the team), and a great young defense prospect.

Maybe the worst proposal I've ever seen involving the Pens.
