If you are who I THINK you are, then you and I have played against each other in Falmouth, and (quite some time ago) out at USM...
I've played on Mark Snyder's team (the Red Wings, and before that Parthenon Tile) for years...
Well, chances are we have played against each other then. I played at USM several years ago, not recently though, and at Falmouth about 4 years ago in the leagues and up until i left Maine i did Lunch Hockey there a few times a week.
Hate to do this but I am out... I was really looking foward to this too. I have a Tourtament in Lemonister Fri-Sun and I almost didnt go for this pick up but the more I thought about it, I was skipping 6 games for one pickup game... Sorry Guys.
Looking forward to this.. Gonna bring the girlfriend.. she wants to watch. See other people as obessed with the Bruins as I am. Not many in this world, mind you
i know i said i was 99.9% sure i would make it well that .1% came up and im now 33.3% lol. i was given my work schedule for last month not this month, so i will not know my schedule till this week hopefully at some point. ill let you know asap but if i can make it i will definitely be there.
Griff, can your buddy ref still? It made the game a lot more fun when he did. Tell him we can buy him a few drinks afterwards for his services
just talked to him. he said he is 95% sure he can make it. still no work schedule for next week, so he doesnt wanna say for sure. but he doesnt see work getting in the way as of now.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you: Yes, he is up to the task and wants to run the scoreboard.
Now, is there anyone who can show him how it works? I'm aware of two kinds of scoreboard keyboards and am pretty good with one of them. The other I'm not. Depending on what they have for a scoreboard keyboard, we may need some instruction.
Edit: I may know someone who would be willing to skate as a ref. I'll look into it, just in case. Let me know how you might want to proceed.

I wouldn't count on it being open. I've been there a number of times and only seen it open a couple of those times. If you absolutely can't get the skates done before the game, there's a Play It Again just down the street, and they sharpen skates. there's also Dynamik Sports on Main Street in Reading. Other places too, those are just the two closest places I know about.

I keep a sweet-stick in my bag, found it to be a safer alternative to some of the last minute hack jobs that have been done on my skates an unfamiliar pro-shop.
