Which 11 To Keep?

Head to head, 11 player keeper league. Pretty standard stat categories. We start 4 C's, 4 RWs, 4 LWs, 4 D and 2 Gs.

Kevin Bieksa (Van - D)
Brent Burns (Min - D)
Ryan Getzlaf (Anh - C)
Martin Havlat (Min - RW)
Dany Heatley (Ott - LW)
Nathan Horton (Fla - C,RW)
Milan Michalek (SJ - LW)
Patrick O'Sullivan (Edm - C,LW)
Alexander Ovechkin (Was - LW)
Kyle Quincey (Col - D)
Marc Savard (Bos - C)
Alexander Semin (Was - LW,RW)
Eric Staal (Car - C)
Thomas Vanek (Buf - LW)
Shea Weber (Nsh - D)
Blake Wheeler (Bos - RW)

Peter Budaj (Col - G)
Josh Harding (Min - G)
Jon Quick (LA - G)
Karri Ramo (TB - G)
Tomas Vokoun (Fla - G)

The positions listed next to each name is what Yahoo had them listed as at the end of last season. Yahoo is horrendous with position eligibility so I have absolutely no idea where guys are going to qualify next season...which obviously makes things even harder...

Thanks in advance guys!

You'll have good forwards, but goalie and dmen youll be weak on. I dont even know if you should keep any goalies, I assume the draft will be weak for goalies as they are important in Yahoo h2h leagues. Your best bet would be to trade for one.

C Getz
C Staal
C Savard
C

RW Havlat
RW Semin
RW Wheeler
RW

LW Ovy
LW Heatley
LW Vanek

DWeber
D

D

If I was you id trade one of your centres for a top goalie. Centre is a deep position and there will be lots of guys that can be picked up after. I would maybe keep Burns or Bieksa ahead of a goalie. Going into the draft take the best goalie availabe, then get dmen, then wingers, then centres.

just my thoughts

It's a toss up between Havlat and Horton for me. I went Horton. Harding may be two or 3 seasons from being a starter so I left him out. But he's only a trade away from earning a ton of fantasy cred. I could see him going to Philly if their goalie situation doesn't work out. That would make him a top 10 fantasy goalie IMO.

Havlat and Heater are both potential trade bait but not spring chickens. Hortons age and positional multi-eligibility makes him an attractive keeper. I also definitely would NOT keep Savard. As much as I like him personally, his age makes him a no-go.
