I was very happy for the Boyle trade. But he is someone who has layed his heart on the line and always fought to get where he was (not being drafted etc..). Not some prima donna who comes out publicly asking for a trade.

If he come's I will be happy to see him score goals, I just don't like his attitude.
Don't worry. Todd McLellan will call him out to play more defensively and this time when he requests a trade, the Sharks will make sure it's private and done before it leaks to the media and not wait around like Murray did. lol

If Bucci is right, it isn't going to be pretty for the Sharks.

And then laugh even harder when they have nothing but love for him when he puts up 50+ goals with Thornton.
And then you will fall out of your chair laughing when we hunt him down for playoff floating.

I thought he was upset because he got placed on the 2nd pp unit? From what I have read he doesn't see much of the defensive zone.

You have to think the sharks are making some sort of move soon. That trade with Vancouver freed up more than enough cap space for this season. Hard to justify that move if they don't make another move. On the sen's end of things, it would be really tough to make it through training camp and the start of the season with Heater in the locker room. I have nothing against the guy, and **** me he is a good hockey player, despite what some say, but it would be tough for 19 other guys to sit in that dressing room with him after all this ****
i completly agree with you,

People are just overly bashing him because he's being a dick. Heatley is not an amazing back checker, but he doesn't float as much as people make him out to be, and Ive seen him plenty of time backcheck pretty hard and make some nice hustle D plays.

If you did watch him the last 15 games or on Ottawa of last year, he really did look like he gave up though.

The kings trading both Frolov & Stoll just to get Marleau for 1 year & a "throw in" would be absolutely stupid. There's no way DL is that dumb. If he is, he should be fired on the spot.

I'm very curious to see what the Sharks will have given up? I'd be absolutely floored if Murray made out like some of you suggest he'll make out for the past 2+ months. I'm thinking Senator fans are not going to be thrilled when they see the return here.

Part of the reason he requested the trade... wants more defensive responsibility.

I knew it! Comrie goes to the Oilers, and now the Sharks feel they have to "keep up".

Comrie equals domino.

My guess is maybe picks and prospects headed LA's way, as well.
I think it's Cheechoo as the added piece. His salary is around $3.6, correct? That's what Stoll makes...

Lombardi loves second-chance players, especially guys that have scored a lot in the past.

I want the Sens to get a huge return for Heatley, especially if they trade him to a Western team not named the Canucks, but I don't expect them to get a very good return.

Heatley for White and Rahimi.

Sidorkiechirp claims this posted deal by John Buccigross and their actual posted deal and info.

Knock it off. TSN hasn't had a thing on this. And if anything is going to happen, they would know. McKenzie would have been all over this. I still won't believe it.
