NHL reinstates Theo Fleury

http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=290651

Quote:
Following a meeting with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and deputy commissioner Bill Daly on Thursday in Phoenix, sources tell TSN Theoren Fleury will be reinstated and free to resume his playing career in the NHL.

Fleury recently met with the NHL and NHLPA's substance abuse programs doctors, who then forwarded their recommendations to the league.
Do you want him on your team?

If hes in shape I wouldn't see the harm in a minimum contract. Imagine Fleury and Avery on the same line

Let him play in Abbotsford for a little bit then bring him up, if Claude Lemieux can make a comeback so can Theoren.

I could see Flames giving him an invite seeing how they never replaced their leading goal-scorer, and with Bertuzzi also leaving.

Fleury probably just needs the money, but good for him for attempting a comeback.

If there is one team in the NHL that really needs a guy like Fleury, it's the Edmonton Oilers. He'll bring some size to their forwards.

Good for him, I hope he can still add something to a team.

Iginla still plays for the Flames.

We swapped Cammy for Jokinen, funny how people still forget that...

Bertuzzi will not be missed that much, his offense will be made up by the rest of the team with ease.

As for Theo, he will not be with the Flames we do not need him.

I wish his luck however.

That's too bad, not that the Flames need Theo. It's just personally I've always thought of Theo as a Flame. So it would have been nice if he could finish his career in Calgary.

really to bad it took him so long to come to his senses, but addiction is a blinding thing for so many

best of luck Theo and stay on track even after you play your final NHL game .

Gary Roberts should have ended a Flame too...but not the way it goes most of the time.

If Theo comes back loook down to the teams with empty seats or maybe some where in NY again?

In case you haven't noticed the trend, but Sutter tends to do the exact opposite of what he tells the public. Also, I've heard from a couple of different places, stating that if Theo was reinstated, he would be allowed to tryout for the Flames.

I don't understand anyone who doesn't see this as a banner saying, "Welcome to the Sharks, Theo!"
