Yeah I totally agree. There are certain players who when you think of them. You picture them in one uniform. For me, Theo is one of them, Roberts too.

He meets the size requirements for MTL.

If Fleury signs, it's gotta be for no more than 525k.

Bertuzzi will not be missed that much, his offense will be made up by the rest of the team with ease.

As for Theo, he will not be with the Flames we do not need him.

I wish his luck however.
If Jokinen replaces Cammy then essentially you didn't replace any of the secondary scoring you had with Lombardi and Bertuzzi.

You're right. Sjostrom, Prust and Dawes will never score any goals for the Flames.

If Bill Wirtz was still alive, he'd be all over this. Again.

I will **** my pants if Sutter signs Fleury. Especially if he starts out for a conditioning stint in Abbotsford.

Right. 7, 1 and 10 goal seasons respectively. I was talking about the second line itself more than anything else. Those are bottom 6 chip-in-occasionally players.

Well good for him. I honestly though would be surprised to see him play 1 game in the NHL this season. I'll guess we'll see if a team gives him a chance. I definetly don't think it will be the flames.

Our second line has tons of depth. Langkow is a lock and the two wings are open to any of: Boyd, Moss, Glencross, Dawes, Backlund or Greentree. Even Lundmark has a decent shot at it. That's six or seven players challenging for two spots.

And D Sutter should sign him to an entry level contract. He doesnt care about the money, he just wants to end his career on his own terms. 'Burying the hatchet' type of thing, you know? I'd love to see Theo in a vintage Flames jersey just one more time. At the very least he'd play if a top forward went down, either on the third or second line. C'mon Sutter, make my dreams come true, ahahaha.

You have plenty of competition, which is good, but I still don't see how any of those players are going to solidify the second line. Moss is by far the best of that group and Backlund will most likely go to AHL. Although, I don't know much about Greentree and he had a great year stats wise.

How about we go one thread without Canuck fans NOT trying to start an argument/pick a fight?

kthxbye.

No offense but if those are the guys competeing for 2/3rds of the 2nd line on the Flames, the Flames will be sorely lacking offence. Out of all of those guys I would consider only Boyd, Moss and Backlund as players that are good enough to be top 6 players but arent there yet. Well I cant say Backlund isnt since he hasnt played in the NHL yet.

Glencross is borderline but should be on the 3rd line and same with Dawes. Greentree... I dont know much about but isnt he supposed to be an enforcer/checker? if so he belongs on the the 4th line or AHL and Lundmark is also someone who belongs on the 3rd line.

None of these guys should be locks to make the 2nd line, they should be battling to take the spot away from more proven players

What? I'm just having discussion, I thought someone would tell me a bit more about Greentree's game. I like the Flames fans here. Complete 180 from CP.
