To me it's laughable. They talk about 1990's, the time when Russia was basically in ruins and nobody in Russia really cared about spying.

i believe he did worked for KGB/FSB . dont see nothing wrong here. he served his country . BTW obviously every single person who had permit to entry Western World were somehow controlled by KGB.
