I did once, it was the night when the canadiens retire Patrick Roy jersey....I was not able to obtain 2 seat together and missing that game was definitely not a option
I was 6 row behind Carey Price....not regret at all

Nope. I only lived there for 4 months and was too broke to go see them. I've been there once, but it was with a friend. She got the tickets for free, so why the hell not!?

My visit to the Bell Centre last year was a bus trip with a bunch of other Sens fans, one of which was going by himself and ending up sitting next to my dad and I (nice guy, pretty loud and into the game as well). Midway through the second period I was dying to take a pis so I got up and the guy next to me followed (weird, yes, but yeah). I made it to the bathroom safely, but on my way out there was a huge crowd with security and all. I guess the guy got into a fight with three or four Habs fans or something and it got pretty ugly. Bystanders were all saying he did nothing to deserve the beat down, etc., but I still hurried me and my Alfie jersey back to my seat. Skip ahead a few hours when we're all getting back on the bus, the guy running the bus trip promptly tells us "yeah I just got a phone call from someone that was with us earlier, he says to go ahead without him as he's spending the night in jail".

I know, not completely on topic with this thread, but I've never shared this story online before. That being said, I'd think twice wearing my Alfie jersey to any Habs game I'm attending by myself.

Did it two times. One time it was in the prestige section in the 2007 home opener and even if the view was superb, I was really feeling alone. The atmosphere was crap.
The other time was in the blue section and it was really cool.

I went to my first ever Habs' games last season, one with a friend and the other by myself. It was against the Islanders, the game where Ryan O'byrne scored in his own net. Anyway the guy sitting beside me had a little kid with him, no older than 6 I'd say, and through the whole 1st period he kept asking, "Is it over yet? Can we go now?" So after the 1st period they left and never came back, then these 2 half-drunk guys who had been sitting in the nosebleeds came down and sat next to me (I was in the reds right behind Carey Price) and starting chatting it up with me like we were old friends, and they were actually pretty funny. (Except when they started booing Mark Streit ) Except for the fact the Habs lost, I had a great time, but then again I'm the kind of person who goes to the movies by herself all the time...

I would totally go alone if I had nothing to do in an upcoming week and there were cheaper tickets available. I've thought about doing it in Ottawa, but it's not the same.

For the people who got separated seats, why didn't you ask people in between to move by 1 seat? Is that doable (unless you're on different rows)?
Heh, it was at the home opener when they unveiled the Ring of Honour. He was only there for a few minutes. Still, though... was awesome.

An earlier game vs Ottawa. It was great. Good seats and we won. Id rather do that than go to a movie theater alone (which I'd still do depending on the movie).

Game 4 VS Carolina in the 2002 playoffs

It wasn't fun

The place was littered with garbage and empty pop corn bags

Well I'll be going again, by my self. WTF happened to the ticket sale. I logged in at 8:59, and every pair of regular season tickets was gone. Wasn't it supposed to start at 9? Anyway, I got good seats for the NYI game on oct20. And this means coming from out of town on a tuesday. Guess you really have to stub hub it cuz I doubt the monthly onsales are any different. Did the sale start at 8 or something?

I always go 2 or 3 times per year alone (so i guess I've been to a game by myself about 10 to 12 times and I will go once again this year) and it's always very nice...

Just read a previous thread (waiting room) and I guess it was the 12th not the 15th. Taaabarnak. It through me off cuz they have the monthly sales on the 15th of every month. Anyway, still have that one ticket. Checked Stub Hub, as usual completely ridiculous prices, but they usually come down closer to the event. Otherwise I can try November or February (ideally I'd want to go again around then) 15th. It would be hoping for a miracle at this point that the exact seat next to me on Oct20 became available on stub hub (or even the Oct sale), but hey, this season I'm hoping for one giant miracle.
